About Us

AXIA Taverna began with the vision of Michael F. Parlamis, a long time resident of Tenafly.   Michael and his son, Alex Parlamis, developed over 700 restaurants throughout the metropolitan area and created AXIA from the ground up. Axia is now run by the Parlamis family,  executive chef Alex Gorant, and hand-picked master GM, Tim Vlahopoulos.
